"Our bodies are ours."
Inspired by a 2016 photoshoot responding to President Donald Trump's infamous "grab 'em by the pussy" comments, 10 women stripped down over the weekend in an attempt to energize anti-Trump sentiment at the ballot box.
They've dubbed their initiative, "Grab Them by the Ballot."
Ahead of November midterm elections, the "diverse" group of female Vermonters came together for an "empowering" photo session, reported Vermont outlet Seven Days.
“How can we inspire women to vote after the Kavanaugh confirmation, the #MeToo movement and Trump?” the group's organizer, Dawn Robertson, told Seven Days.

The women involved in the initiative expressed their desire to pull off the tricky balancing act of resisting the objectification of their sexuality while avoiding shying away from it. "Our bodies are ours..in all their beautifully unique and natural forms. We are reclaiming the over-sexualization of our bodies while celebrating our own sexuality," the group said.
"Please note, there were no touches up on these photos..we feel empowered to show up just as we are!"
