"Honest Omarosa..."

Omarosa Manigault-Newman, former director of communications for the White House Public Liaison Office, secretly recorded conversations with President Donald Trump during her time in his administration, The Daily Beast reported Wednesday.

Several sources told The Daily Beast of the existence of "tapes" recorded on Manigault's smartphone.

The former "Apprentice" star has played the tapes to at least one person, The Daily Beast confirmed, and has used the recordings while shopping her yet to be released book, "UNHINGED," which details her time in the White House.

The news of the secret recording's existence is yet another sign the once stridently loyal Manigault has turned her back on Trump.

The book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, describes "UNHINGED" as a "stunning tell-all and takedown" of Trump
